A Prayer for Insomnia

Lord, I cannot sleep and the clock keeps moving. Take my restless thoughts and quiet my body. Even if sleep does not come soon, let me rest in knowing You are awake and watching over me.

“It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones.”
