A Prayer to Receive God's Forgiveness

Father, I confess my failings before you. The weight of my guilt is heavy. I ask you to forgive me, to wash me clean, and to help me accept the boundless mercy you offer through Christ.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
