A Season of Repentance

Merciful God, in this season of turning back to You, I look honestly at my habits and my heart. Show me what needs to change, and give me the strength to change it. Let my sorrow lead me home, not away from You.

“Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to the LORD, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity.”
