Forgive Me Tonight

Merciful God, I think over the day and see where I fell short. I was impatient, careless, or silent when I should have spoken. Forgive me, and help me begin again tomorrow with a lighter heart.

“For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.”
