Light in My Darkness

Father, a quiet heaviness has settled over me and I cannot name it. I do not need to explain it to You. Simply sit with me, give me light for the next small hour, and keep me from despair.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?”
