Loving My Enemies

Jesus, you ask me to pray for those who oppose me, and it is hard. Soften my heart toward them, free me from resentment, and let me wish them well. Let your mercy shape how I see them.

“But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,”

Matthew 5:44
