Prayer for the Sick

Compassionate Jesus, tonight I remember those lying awake in pain or in a hospital bed. Be near to them, ease their suffering, and comfort those who keep watch beside them. Give the weary a moment of rest.

“…and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”

James 5:15
