A Morning Prayer for Strength

God, as I start this day, I ask for your strength to face whatever comes my way. Be my shield and my guide. Help me to walk in faith and not in fear.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.”
